We take upmost care when packing your orders, we will ship your item in a box and wrap delicate items to keep them safe.
Your new plant will be sent in its pot in our custom packaging, ready for you to unpack and enjoy. We ship all live plants in their pots [excluding plugs]. Given they are living plants, condition may vary slightly between time photos were taken and delivery. Absolute care will be taken to ensure the plant is in the best possible condition prior to transit and packaged very well, but we cannot guarantee how the courier will handle the package on its way to you and cannot be held liable for mistreatment in transit.
Photos are indicative of the plants we have in stock, you will receive on in similar size/health to the ones pictured. Variations in size/colour/leaf quantity/health are normal and to be expected with live plants, no 2 are the same.
SHIPPING TO LOCATIONS WITHIN AUSTRALIA
The friendly staff here at Uprooted have created a hassle-free shipping experience. There are NO hidden costs or complicated processes. We offer calculated shipping rates on all of our orders, our system will calculate the size & weight of your order and based on your shipping address it will provide you with an accurate shipping charge.
We ship all orders daily, Monday - Friday, including orders containing plants. This allows us more time to carefully package each plant so it arrives in the best possible condition. If you would like your order to be shipped on a specific day please contact us at email@example.com
We are proud that all Australian orders are tracked, unless otherwise stated or you choose otherwise*. This gives you peace of mind that your purchases are being handled properly and that you can see where your products are at any time via the tracking links emailed to you after purchase.
All deliveries will be marked with signature required as standard. We can request authority to leave on delivery if you would like, please contact us prior to placing your order to activate this option. This option can also be activated in the Australia Post app after shipping.

FREE STANDARD POST AUSTRALIA
We offer FREE STANDARD POST FOR ALL AUSTRALIAN KEYRING ORDERS. This shipping option DOES NOT include tracking. These items are sent as a large letter with Australia Post, while it is fairly reliable we cannot be held accountable for any missing parcels if you have chosen this delivery option. This delivery option cannot be used for live plants.
FREE STANDARD POST AUSTRALIA
Free shipping for plant orders may be activated from time to time as a promotional. Please note that any free shipping will be via the most economical postage solution, not Express Post. If you need your order delivered fast, please select Express Post at the checkout.
Parcel post is not prioritised and deliveries may be delayed, we strongly recommend Express Post for all orders containing plants.
Australia Post Express - our preferred shipping option for all orders that contain live plants, this is the fastest and most reliable service. Australia Post prioritise Express Post parcels over all others, so choosing this option will give your order the best chance to arrive to you quickly. Shipping within Australia takes approximately 1- 3 business days and is guaranteed next day delivery to some metropolitan destinations within Australia but you may have to allow a little longer if you're remote, from 1-5 business days.
Australia Post Parcel Post - a great reliable option for orders that don't contain live plants, as this service is not prioritised we don't recommend using it for shipping plants. This is a great option for pots and accessories.

We don't recommend using Parcel Post for shipping live plants. If you do select this service expect 5-15 business days delivery, this can be too long for some plants and cause damage or death to the plants. We will not offer any compensation for damaged or dead on arrival plants if you select the standard or courier shipping options, do so at your own risk.
Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent an order tracking email, this will allow you to go to the carrier website to track your order (Excluding some free post items). Please ensure that your registered email address is correct to receive this service.
We have created seperate shipping profiles for Live plants and accessories [pots etc] & here's how it works... If you order a plant and a pot our back end system will generate a shipping quote for them to be sent in seperate boxes but it will display it to you as 1 amount for simplicity. For example if your plant shipping amount is $15 and the pot shipping amount is $11 the website will simply display $26.
For this reason we recommend placing orders for plants separately to accessories. This way you can ship your plant Express Post and the accessory Parcel Post, if they're in the same cart they will ship in seperate boxes but both Express Post, which will cost more.
Due to strict Bio Security Laws we are unable to ship to Tasmania, Western Australia or the Northern Territory. If you place an order and your delivery address is in one of these states it will be immediately cancelled and a refund will be provided.
If you're concerned about not being home when your plant is delivered or worried about it being stolen etc there are delivery options that may suit you.
Australia Post have some incredible options! Please visit the Australia Post website or download the Australia Post app on your mobile phone to set these up.
Parcel Collect - this service allows us to send your delivery direct to a post office for collection. This skips being in a delivery van all day in the heat, cold etc and will be safely stored at your selected post office. You can select a Parcel Collect location close to home or work, whatever is most convenient.
Parcel Locker - This service allows us to send directly to a Parcel Locker so you can collect before or after work etc. Most often the Parcel Lockers are outdoors in full sun so please check your local forecast and if there is excessive heat or cold, this might not be the best option.
Business address - We can ship your plant to your work address [if they allow it]. Just remember to include the business name when you order as sometimes the delivery drivers cannot find street numbers for businesses and it may be returned to sender.
Of course you can have your plant shipped to a PO Box, to your house or someone else's house if they will be home to take delivery. Just remember to pop these details in when you order.
If you choose courier delivery, your order cannot be shipped to a PO Box, Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect. We will contact you for an alternative address if this happens.
