We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, let's break it down.
We use a direct API link to Australia Post for our rates, so the rates you see at the checkout are fed directly from Australia Post. The rates are not estimates, they are the actual Australia Post rates, we do not add any extra to the price.
The rates are based on the actual weight of the order [or the cubic weight if its higher] and your delivery address.
We don't make any profit from shipping rates, we only charge you what we're charged.
Our custom packaging is beautiful + strong so that your plants arrive safe and in good condition. We don't charge any additional price for packaging materials.
We send plants exclusively with Australia Post Express. Our shipping app knows when there is a plant in the order and will only display Express Post rates.
As plants are top priority we ship them with the fastest method possible.
Our Magical Minis range are planted and shipped in 50mm pots to make them light. This means we can offer capped price shipping if you only order plants within the 50mm range.
Other plants can weigh up to 1kg with the extra weight coming from extra potting mix, keeping the pot small means the plant is light and can ship cheaper than others.
***Please note if there are any other plants or accessories aside from the 50mm range in your cart it will default to calculated shipping rates***
Accessories can be shipped with either Parcel Post or Express Post. Our shipping app will assess your shopping cart and identify what you are shipping. If you only have accessories in your cart, it will display rates for Parcel Post and Express Post, however if you have accessories + plants in your cart it will only show rates for Express Post.
We use untracked letters for posting keyrings, these are sent in a large letter using stamps so there is no way to track these deliveries.
We do give the option at the checkout to select a paid shipping option with tracking, including Parcel Post and Express Post.
Delivery timeframes for untracked letters are generally a few weeks but can take much longer to arrive.
