SHIPPING POLICY
Processing Orders
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 to 48 hours.

Orders placed by 12 PM (AEST) on a weekday are typically packed the same or next business day and shipped the following day.

Orders placed over the weekend or during peak periods may take up to 5 business days to be shipped.
Shipping Policy
General Information
All orders are dispatched from our nursery in Cairns, Australia.
Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please ensure that your email address is entered correctly. If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder before contacting us.
If you wish to cancel or modify your order, contact us immediately. We will make every effort to assist; however, if your order has already been packed or shipped, we may be unable to accommodate changes.
Shipping Method & Delivery Times
All plant orders are shipped exclusively via Express Post with Australia Post. Shipping timeframes provided by Australia Post are indicative only and may be affected by:

Unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances beyond our control
Uprooted is not liable for shipping or delivery delays, and no refunds will be issued due to delays.
We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, and Australia Post Express operates seven days a week to minimise transit times.
Delivery & Authority to Leave (ATL)
At checkout, you may select either:
✅ Signature on Delivery (recommended)
✅ Authority to Leave (ATL)
We strongly recommend Signature on Delivery for all orders. If no one is available to accept the parcel, Australia Post will redirect it to the nearest post office for collection. It is your responsibility to provide a correct and accessible delivery address.
If you choose Authority to Leave (ATL) at checkout:

You accept full responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, or misdelivery once the parcel has been left at the delivery address.

The parcel may be exposed to extreme weather conditions (heat, direct sunlight, rain, or cold), which may affect the condition of live plants.

Uprooted will not be held liable for parcels that are lost, stolen, or arrive in poor condition due to being left unattended.
📌 For the safest delivery, we strongly recommend selecting Signature on Delivery.
Courier Deliveries

Courier deliveries cannot be sent to a PO Box, Parcel Locker, or Parcel Collect address.

If a PO Box, Parcel Locker, or Parcel Collect address is entered for a courier delivery, we will contact you to obtain an alternative address.
Parcel Lockers – Important Notice
We do not recommend shipping live plants to Australia Post Parcel Lockers. Parcel Lockers are often exposed to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, which may negatively impact live plants. Additionally, larger parcels may not fit in the locker and could be redirected to a post office.
If you choose to send your order to a Parcel Locker:

You accept full responsibility for any damage caused by prolonged exposure to heat, cold, or delays.

Uprooted will not be held liable for plants arriving in poor condition due to being shipped to a Parcel Locker.
Incorrect Addresses & Return to Sender
If an invalid or incorrect address is provided and your order is returned to sender, we can reship your order under the following conditions:

You will be required to pay the original shipping fee again to cover re-delivery. This will be the actual cost we’re charged, not the checkout price you initially paid.

A $15 return handling fee will apply to cover costs associated with the parcel being returned to us.
Tracking Information
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please check your junk/spam folders regularly, as tracking emails may be filtered by your email provider.

Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia & Australian Capital Territory

Orders to QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC & SA are shipped daily.
Tasmania, Western Australia & Northern Territory

Orders to Tasmania are dispatched fortnightly.

Orders to Western Australia & the Northern Territory are dispatched fortnightly.
International Orders

We do not currently offer international shipping.

International addresses cannot be entered at checkout.
