Rhaphidophora tetrasperma – Mini Monstera

Rhaphidophora tetrasperma is a vigorous tropical climber with glossy green foliage that develops attractive splits as it matures. Its smaller leaves and climbing habit deliver much of the tropical impact people love in fenestrated foliage while fitting comfortably into many indoor spaces.

Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Appearance: Glossy green leaves develop distinctive natural splits as the plant matures.
✔️ Growing Appeal: A vigorous climber that responds well to bright indirect light and vertical support.
✔️ Point of Difference: Compact, fenestrated foliage at a different scale from true Monstera species.

Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright indirect light is ideal; avoid harsh direct sun.
💧 Water: Water when the upper portion of the mix begins to dry.
💦 Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity.
🌡 Temperature: Aim for approximately 18–30°C and protect from cold draughts.
🌱 Soil: An airy, free-draining mix of coco coir, coco chip and perlite.
🪴 Support: Provide a pole, board or trellis to encourage upright climbing growth.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is included in the potting mix.
🚫 Toxicity: Contains calcium oxalate crystals and is toxic if chewed or ingested by pets; keep out of reach.

Also known as: Mini Monstera

A brilliant choice when you want climbing tropical foliage without enormous leaves.

Shipping Availability: Nationwide

We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, so here’s a simple breakdown 🌿📦

Our shipping rates are charged per box, with each box able to fit up to 8 × 75mm potted plants.

As a general guide:
• 75mm pots make the best use of space, with up to 8 plants fitting in one box
• 100mm pots take up more space, so a box will usually fit around 3 plants depending on their size and shape

If your order requires more than one box, the website will automatically add the additional shipping charge.

For example:
• Up to 8 × 75mm plants = 1 box
• Larger 100mm plants use more box space and may reduce the total number of plants that fit in each box

Beautiful and lush plant.

My gorgeous plant arrived in perfect condition thanks to your care and expertise in packaging. I'm a repeat purchaser of Uprooted plants (am a bit of a Monstera lover) and have never been disappointed. This one is so lush and healthy and much bigger than the online photo, I'm very happy to have it adorn my home. And, it arrived here in Brisbane today after ordering it only a day ago.

Came bushy and healthy!

Plant was far leafier than expected - even more than the store picture. Expected less from a 100mm pot but I am thrilled! Safely packed and well maintained. Photo is *after* taking some cuttings to propogate.

Initially the plant arrived well however I did encounter some rot, but the communication with uprooted was worth a good review on its own

Literal Perfection

I have been trying to get ahold of this plant for a while but it’s really hard to find we’re I live so I looked online and found these guys. I was a little sceptical at first but I received it today and I am over the moon. The plant is in perfect condition. Not a mark on it. I cannot believe just how perfect it was. Better condition then you can find any plant from Bunnings or other. I also love that it only took 3 days to get me!! Will definitely buy here again!

As with every plant I’ve bought from these guys, it was in perfect condition and way bigger and more lush than the product images. Brilliant company, will continue to grow my (already too big) indoor jungle with Uprooted!

Beautiful plant

This plant was one of the first plants I got from uprooted and I couldn't be happier! It came in very secure packaging. It is a great size, not too small, but also young enough to watch it grow. Already has some lovely fenestrations in the leaves and I can't wait to get it to climb a moss pole! Will be buying more plants from here for sure!
