Anthurium crystallinum ‘Silver Blush’ × Anthurium warocqueanum – Velvet-Foliage Hybrid
This seed-grown Anthurium hybrid combines parentage associated with prominent pale venation and elongated velvet foliage. Individual seedlings can vary considerably in colour, venation and leaf shape as they mature, so each plant should be appreciated for its own developing characteristics.
Why You’ll Love It
✔️ Appearance: Velvety green foliage can develop contrasting pale venation and an increasingly elongated form with maturity.
✔️ Growing Appeal: Stable warmth, bright indirect light and consistent moisture support the development of progressively larger foliage.
✔️ Point of Difference: Being seed grown, each plant can express the cross differently rather than producing a completely uniform appearance.
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright indirect light; protect from harsh direct afternoon sun.
💧 Water: Water when the upper portion of the mix begins to dry; avoid prolonged saturation.
💦 Humidity: Moderate to high humidity with good airflow.
🌡 Temperature: 18–28°C; protect from cold and sudden temperature changes.
🌱 Soil: Loose, chunky and well-draining mix with good moisture balance and root aeration.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is already included in the potting mix.
🚫 Toxicity: Anthuriums contain calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic if chewed or ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
Please note: Seed grown and highly variable in colour and leaf shape. These plants are sold as imperfect foliage and may have cosmetic leaf damage or blemishes. Please refer to the product images and listing context when purchasing.
A distinctive seed-grown hybrid with plenty of character still to develop.
We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, so here’s a simple breakdown 🌿📦
Our shipping rates are charged per box, with each box able to fit up to 8 × 75mm potted plants.
As a general guide:
• 75mm pots make the best use of space, with up to 8 plants fitting in one box
• 100mm pots take up more space, so a box will usually fit around 3 plants depending on their size and shape
If your order requires more than one box, the website will automatically add the additional shipping charge.
For example:
• Up to 8 × 75mm plants = 1 box
• Larger 100mm plants use more box space and may reduce the total number of plants that fit in each box
