Aglaonema ‘Suksom Jaipong’ – Red Leaf Chinese Evergreen
Aglaonema ‘Suksom Jaipong’ is a colourful tropical indoor plant prized for its glossy leaves in rich coral-red, edged and veined in green. Each leaf has a slightly different pattern, so the colour shifts across the whole plant. Like other Chinese evergreens, it has a compact, upright habit and is known for being easy to care for. It’s a simple way to add bold colour to a home or office.
Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Vivid red foliage – Coral-red leaves with green margins and veins give it a warm, eye-catching look, and the colour stays strong all year round.
✔️ Easy-care indoor plant – It’s forgiving, slow-growing and compact, so it’s a great colourful plant for beginners and for anyone short on space.
✔️ A pop of colour, not just green – Unlike classic green-and-silver Aglaonemas, ‘Suksom Jaipong’ is one of the boldest red varieties. That makes it a standout feature among other foliage plants.
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Give it bright indirect light for the strongest red colouring. It tolerates lower light, but colour may dull and growth may become leggy over time. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
💧 Water: Water when the top few centimetres of mix have dried. Aglaonemas are sensitive to overwatering, so let excess water drain away and never leave the plant sitting in water.
💦 Humidity: It copes with average household humidity but does best at around 50% or higher. A humidifier can help in dry or air-conditioned rooms.
🌡 Temperature: 18–30°C is ideal. It is sensitive to cold, so keep it above 15°C and away from cold draughts, especially in winter.
🌱 Soil: Use a well-draining mix of coco coir, coco chip & perlite to keep the roots healthy and prevent waterlogging.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is already added to the potting mix. During spring and summer, add a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength every month or so.
🚫 Toxicity: Toxic to pets and people if chewed or eaten. Like other Aglaonemas, it contains calcium oxalate crystals that can irritate the mouth and throat.

Bring a splash of warm colour to any room with this easy-going favourite.
We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, so here’s a simple breakdown 🌿📦
Our shipping rates are charged per box, with each box able to fit up to 8 × 75mm potted plants.
As a general guide:
• 75mm pots make the best use of space, with up to 8 plants fitting in one box
• 100mm pots take up more space, so a box will usually fit around 3 plants depending on their size and shape
If your order requires more than one box, the website will automatically add the additional shipping charge.
For example:
• Up to 8 × 75mm plants = 1 box
• Larger 100mm plants use more box space and may reduce the total number of plants that fit in each box
