Ceropegia Woodii – Chain of Hearts
Ceropegia woodii is a beautiful trailing succulent-like plant loved for its delicate, heart-shaped leaves and long cascading stems. The foliage typically shows attractive silver patterning over green leaves with contrasting undersides, while mature plants can produce unusual tubular flowers. Its graceful growth and compact root system make it especially well suited to hanging baskets, shelves and elevated pots.
Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Appearance – Small, heart-shaped leaves grow along fine trailing stems, creating a soft cascading display with attractive natural patterning.
✔️ Growing Appeal – A compact, easy-to-display trailing plant that performs beautifully in hanging baskets and on shelves.
✔️ Point of Difference – Its combination of heart-shaped foliage, long wiry stems and unusual flowers gives it a completely different look from most common indoor trailing plants.
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. Gentle morning sun can help maintain compact growth and attractive foliage, but protect from harsh direct afternoon sun.
💧 Water: Allow the potting mix to dry well between waterings. Its tuberous roots and succulent-like foliage make it more tolerant of dryness than constantly wet conditions.
💦 Humidity: Generally adapts well to normal indoor humidity and does not require especially high humidity.
🌡 Temperature: Ideally 18–30°C. Protect from frost and prolonged cold conditions.
🌱 Soil: Use a loose, well-draining mix containing coco coir, coco chip & perlite, with excellent drainage around the roots and tubers.
🪴 Support: Best grown trailing from a hanging basket, shelf or elevated pot where the stems can cascade freely.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is already added to the potting mix. A balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied occasionally during active growth.
🚫 Toxicity: We believe this plant is generally considered non-toxic to pets; however, individual reactions can occur.

We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, so here’s a simple breakdown 🌿📦
Our shipping rates are charged per box, with each box able to fit up to 8 × 75mm potted plants.
As a general guide:
• 75mm pots make the best use of space, with up to 8 plants fitting in one box
• 100mm pots take up more space, so a box will usually fit around 3 plants depending on their size and shape
If your order requires more than one box, the website will automatically add the additional shipping charge.
For example:
• Up to 8 × 75mm plants = 1 box
• Larger 100mm plants use more box space and may reduce the total number of plants that fit in each box
