Pellionia Repens – Trailing Tropical Foliage Plant
Pellionia repens is a lush tropical trailing plant grown for its beautifully patterned leaves and soft, cascading growth. Its oval foliage typically combines fresh green with darker margins and contrasting central tones, creating an attractive textured display. Naturally creeping and spreading, it works particularly well in hanging pots, terrariums and on shelves where its stems can spill freely over the edges.
Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Appearance – Attractive green foliage features contrasting tones and subtle patterning that gives the plant plenty of texture and depth.
✔️ Growing Appeal – A quick-growing trailing plant that creates a lush cascading display in hanging pots, terrariums and elevated positions.
✔️ Point of Difference – Its low, creeping habit and patterned foliage give it a softer, more delicate look than many upright tropical indoor plants.
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright indirect light is ideal. It can tolerate somewhat lower light, although brighter indirect light generally supports denser growth and stronger foliage colour.
💧 Water: Water when the upper portion of the potting mix begins to dry. It prefers consistent moisture and should not be allowed to remain completely dry for extended periods.
💦 Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. A humidifier can be beneficial in dry indoor environments.
🌡 Temperature: Ideally 18–28°C. Protect from cold temperatures, frost and cool drafts.
🌱 Soil: Use a loose, moisture-retentive but well-draining mix containing coco coir, coco chip & perlite.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is already added to the potting mix. A balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied occasionally during active growth.
🚫 Toxicity: Reliable authoritative pet-toxicity information is limited, so we recommend keeping it out of reach of pets and children rather than assuming it is completely non-toxic.

We get a lot of questions about how our shipping works, so here’s a simple breakdown 🌿📦
Our shipping rates are charged per box, with each box able to fit up to 8 × 75mm potted plants.
As a general guide:
• 75mm pots make the best use of space, with up to 8 plants fitting in one box
• 100mm pots take up more space, so a box will usually fit around 3 plants depending on their size and shape
If your order requires more than one box, the website will automatically add the additional shipping charge.
For example:
• Up to 8 × 75mm plants = 1 box
• Larger 100mm plants use more box space and may reduce the total number of plants that fit in each box
